Magician and stand-up comedian Andy Gross hopes for screams not laughs from his split-man prank as he wanders the streets terrifying people.

His mind-boggling illusion has unsuspecting passers-by running in terror as they see the dismembered body heading towards them.

One woman is so terrified, she sprints away, trips and lands face-first in a sandpit.
Another woman bolts to her car wailing, and speeds off.
Footage of the scary prank has been uploaded to YouTube where it has been watched nearly two million times this month.
